Experimenting with Pure Blog
Well, here's something I didn't expect to be doing. But, I've been keeping an eye on Pure Blog. And, quite frankly, it looks to be more than enough for what I need.
I haven't imported any of my older, existing content from my Ghost blog just yet, I'm still working on that. Although, I have finally managed to get it exported into Markdown after making some modifications to GitHub: Ghost Export to Markdown. It required support for pagination, and here's my pull request.
You may also notice a return to the blog subdomain. I'll be putting in some redirects for the other feed addresses. Something just never sat right with me after moving away from it.
Very much looking forward to putting Pure Blog to work, and seeing what it can do. So, massive thank you to Kev Quirk for bringing this into the world.
Update: I have now imported all my previous posts. There will be some work to do to go through and make sure all the links are valid, and to move the images over. Once that's done, I can start working on re-purposing the Ghost blog with Magic Pages for the next project.
