Zwift has Acquired ROUVY

Well, this isn't going to end well. Sure, it's all sunshine and rainbows right now, while Zwift shares compatibility with their various pieces of hardware. But we all know exactly what's going to happen here, don't we.

Zwift is pleased to confirm that from today, Zwift Ready smart trainers and Zwift Ride smart frames will work with ROUVY, unlocking new experiences within the ROUVY software application and making it easier for new users to get started. Further updates are planned over the coming months. -- https://news.zwift.com/en-WW/264934-zwift-accelerates-mission-to-make-more-people-more-active-more-often-with-the-acquisition-of-rouvy/

And, from the ROUVY press release, which is practically identical.

Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed. -- https://rouvy.com/press/zwift-has-completed-the-acquisition-of-ROUVY

Oh, boy. Easy to translate that one to “Shut the fuck up, and you'll get paid”.
